Description

Here it is! Batman finally putting the whoopin on big Bane. This is all pencil on bristol board. Just fan art. Me just having fun with Gothams Dark Knight. I don't draw a whole lot of Batman so excuse me if anything is a little off on the characters. Also, the area in the middle isn't the greatest because this was done on 11" x 17" and I have a regular size scanner! :(

Hope you all like it. I had alot of fun doing it. About ten hours of fun! lol

I love it, you've done a great job shading, the wrinkles of fabric and the muscles are especially impressive. Their postures are excellent but I'd like to see a more interesting angle of batman?

The way that the background is so bright though, it's.. I don't know, I mean the shadowy tones around batman are nicely placed but all up the background begs me to question whether the piece is finished?

Ahh yeah, just read about the scanner. Nevermind ^ xP

Nice balanced framing too, with the bricks at the bottom really bringing us in, you have that uppermost corner which in a way actually invites me to stop wondering and brings me back into the center.

Yeah, now that I'm looking, Batman's cloak really breaks up the building perfectly, its so smooth and fluid in its motion.
